Accelerating the project of Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Area

NDO - On May 7, Comrade Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Cao Phong District Party Committee to inspect the progress of the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and the project of the Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Space.

According to the report of Cao Phong district, in the first quarter of 2025, the district has resolutely and effectively implemented tasks and solutions, achieving many positive results in all fields.

The total value of industrial and handicraft production is estimated at 136 billion VND, equal to 110.5% compared to the same period in 2024; the circulation of goods and service and trade revenue is estimated at 422 billion VND, equal to 105% compared to the same period; tourism revenue is estimated at 101 billion VND, an increase of 11 billion VND compared to the same period. The new rural construction program has 8/9 communes meeting new rural standards...

The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Cao Phong district has 188 households participating in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (149 new houses built; 39 houses repaired).

To date, regarding newly built houses, the district has completed 115/149 houses, and is building 39 houses; regarding repaired houses, the district has completed 37/39 houses, and is building 2 houses. The district will complete ahead of schedule, before May 30, 2025.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Phi Long emphasized that in the coming time, he requested the Standing Committee of Cao Phong District Party Committee to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the resolutions, directives, conclusions of the Party, and policies and laws of the State.

At the same time, the district needs to do a good job of educating political ideology, moral qualities, lifestyles of cadres and party members, spirit, attitude and responsibility in performing assigned tasks; focus on directing political tasks, ensuring that work is not interrupted, affecting businesses and people; do a good job of propagating the policy of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system to create consensus and unity among cadres, party members and people.

The leaders completed the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, arranged cadres, civil servants and public employees when not organizing at the district level and merged commune-level administrative units to ensure progress and quality according to the direction of the Central and the Provincial Party Committee; strengthened the management of land, headquarters, finance and state assets, ensuring effective use and avoiding waste in the process of arranging the apparatus; directed the completion of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses according to the set plan; in particular, accelerated the implementation of the Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Space project.
