Expedite the project for the Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Area.

NDO - On May 7th, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, held a working session with the Standing Committee of the Cao Phong District Party Committee to inspect the progress of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and the Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Area project.

According to a report from Cao Phong district, in the first quarter of 2025, the district decisively and effectively implemented tasks and solutions, achieving many positive results in various fields.

The total value of industrial and handicraft production is estimated at 136 billion VND, equivalent to 110.5% compared to the same period in 2024; the volume of goods circulation and revenue from services and trade is estimated at 422 billion VND, equivalent to 105% compared to the same period; tourism revenue is estimated at 101 billion VND, an increase of 11 billion VND compared to the same period. The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Cao Phong district has 188 households participating (149 new houses built; 39 houses repaired).

To date, regarding new house construction, the district has completed 115 out of 149 houses and is currently building 39; regarding house repairs, the district has completed 37 out of 39 houses and is currently building 2. The district will complete the project ahead of schedule, before May 30, 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Phi Long emphasized that in the coming period, the Standing Committee of the Cao Phong District Party Committee should thoroughly understand and seriously implement the resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party, as well as the policies and laws of the State.

At the same time, the district needs to effectively carry out political and ideological education, cultivate moral character and lifestyle among cadres and Party members, and foster a spirit, attitude, and responsibility in performing assigned tasks; focus on directing political tasks, ensuring that work is not interrupted or negatively impacted by businesses and the people; and effectively disseminate information on the policy of reorganizing the political system's apparatus to create consensus and unity among cadres, Party members, and the people.

The leadership completed the reorganization of commune-level administrative units, the placement of officials and civil servants when district-level organizations were not established, and the merger of commune-level administrative units, ensuring progress and quality in accordance with the directives of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee; strengthened the management of land, offices, finance, and state assets, ensuring efficient use and avoiding waste during the reorganization of the administrative apparatus; directed the completion of the work to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses according to the plan; and, in particular, accelerated the implementation of the Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Area project.
