
On December 14th, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health reported that a food poisoning incident had occurred, resulting in 36 people being hospitalized at An Phuoc Hospital and Binh Thuan General Hospital.
Earlier, on the afternoon of December 12th, many people were admitted to the emergency room with symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and fever. Immediately afterward, two hospitals urgently reported the cases of food poisoning to the Department of Health . On December 13th, the number of patients hospitalized due to food poisoning continued to increase.
By the afternoon of December 14th, 17 patients had been discharged, while 19 remained hospitalized for treatment; of these, 15 were at An Phuoc Hospital and 4 at Binh Thuan General Hospital.

The Lam Dong Provincial Food Safety Department sent personnel to the hospital to gather information from the admitted patients. All patients shared the same information: they had all eaten bread from the same shop.
Immediately, the unit collected samples and sent them to the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang for analysis. The official results regarding the cause of the poisoning are expected on December 15th.
