Promoting cooperative relations between Dolnośląskie province of Poland and localities in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland requested that the leaders of Wrocław city and Dolnośląskie province pay attention to, support, and create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community in the area to live, do business, and integrate, especially in resolving procedures and paperwork for residence and work permits for Vietnamese citizens.

On December 12th and 13th, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland, Ha Hoang Hai, made a working visit to the city of Wrocław, Dolnośląskie province.

During his working visit, Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai held meetings with the Governor of Dolnośląskie Province, Anna Żabska, and the Vice-Chairman of Wrocław City, Jakub Mazur, focusing on discussing potential cooperation opportunities between the two sides and the situation related to the Vietnamese community in the area.

During meetings with local leaders, Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai emphasized the progress in cooperation between the two countries in many fields over the past time, especially in 2025 - the year marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Poland.

According to Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai, Vietnam and Poland have great potential and opportunities to promote cooperation at both the government level and between localities, including areas where Wrocław city and Dolnośląskie province have strengths such as science and technology, education and training, tourism, and culture.

Highly appreciating the development speed of Poland in general, and the Dolnośląskie province and Wrocław city in particular - where a large number of Vietnamese people study, live and work - Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai requested local leaders to pay attention to, support, and create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community in the area to live, do business and integrate, especially in resolving procedures and paperwork for residence and work permits for Vietnamese citizens.

Leaders of Dolnośląskie province and Wrocław city acknowledged and highly appreciated the integration process and contributions of the Vietnamese community to the cultural diversity of the region; they also stated that the locality will soon resolve outstanding issues regarding residence and work permits for foreigners in general, and Vietnamese people in particular.

Leaders of Dolnośląskie province and Wrocław city expressed their desire to promote multifaceted cooperation with Vietnamese localities, contributing to making the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Poland increasingly substantive and effective.
