Gameshow "5 Days 10 Hours" - an engaging playground for preschool children.

In the context of innovation in preschool education, organizing lively and interactive experiential activities is increasingly emphasized. Beyond simply "learning through play," playgrounds for preschool children aim to help them confidently express themselves and develop comprehensive skills. Based on this direction, Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio & Television, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, has developed the game show "5 Days 10 Hours" – an educational and entertaining playground for children aged 5 to 6.

Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio & Television recorded a trial run of the game show "5 Days 10 Hours".

The name "5 Days 10 Hours" is inspired by the familiar daily routine of preschool children: 5 days at school each week and approximately 10 hours each day spent with teachers and friends. This is the time children learn, play, explore, and develop essential life skills. This relatable number also helps parents easily visualize and support their children's growth in an early childhood education environment.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Hung, Head of the Arts, Sports and Entertainment Department of Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television, said: “The game show is designed as a friendly playground where every child has the opportunity to participate, experience, and shine in their own way. Through the competitions, the program aims to help children become more confident and proactive, while creating a joyful and exciting mindset before entering primary school.”

The program content is designed to suit the psychological characteristics of preschool children, ensuring the elements of fun, learning, and experience.

The competition consists of three main sections: "Super Kids Brain Challenge," which helps children develop their thinking and recognition skills through engaging and visually appealing questions; "Let's Play Together," with gentle physical games that enhance agility and teamwork; and "Children's Stage," where children confidently showcase their artistic talents, emotions, and personalities. Interspersed between the competition sections are friendly interactive activities, creating a space for children to express their thoughts naturally.

Gameshow

Through each competition segment, the children learned and played at the same time, honing their skills in a joyful and exciting atmosphere.

The first season of the "5 Days 10 Hours" game show features 32 teams from preschools across the province, competing in 31 episodes across 5 rounds: Qualifying Round, Challenge Round, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals. Each episode is 30 minutes long and is scheduled to air every Sunday evening on TTV channel and the digital platforms of Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio & Television.

To ensure the program truly becomes an engaging, safe, and suitable playground for preschool children, the production team is actively refining the format, conducting trial filming, and creating a vibrant and welcoming stage environment. From the questions and games to the sound and lighting, everything is designed to be gentle and appropriate for children's comprehension abilities.

Scheduled to begin filming in January 2026, the game show "5 Days 10 Hours" is expected to not only create a beneficial experiential environment, contributing to improving the quality of preschool education in the province, but also to innovate and diversify children's programs on Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio & Television.
