On the morning of May 6, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a ceremony to announce the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) 2024.

Previously, Hung Yen province ranked 12th in PCI 2023 and 14th in PCI 2022.
This is also the first time Hai Phong city has ranked first in PCI with 74.84 points.
PCI 2024 publishes a ranking of localities on the quality of economic management, based on the survey results of nearly 11,000 enterprises nationwide. At the same time, it vividly reflects the current state of the business environment through the assessment of the domestic and foreign business community.
PCI 2024 is the 20th year that this index was born and published in Vietnam. At the same time, PCI 2024 will be the final PCI report to fully assess 63 provinces and cities, before merging provincial-level administrative units according to the Central Government's direction on the arrangement of administrative units and building a 2-level local government organization model.
