Through many flexible and creative ways, associated with practical benefits, the Fatherland Front Committee of To Hieu ward has promoted the strength of people's solidarity to effectively carry out the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward regularly guides and directs the Front Working Committee of the village, residential groups and member organizations to bring the movement into depth, associated with emulation movements. Typically, the Women's Union with the emulation movement " Son La women join hands to build new countryside" associated with 8 criteria of the Campaign "Building families of 5 no, 3 clean". The Youth Union carries out the movement "Youth join hands to build new countryside"; the Farmers' Association launches the movement "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably"; the Veterans' Association with the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans' Association"...

In addition, focusing on propaganda and mobilizing people to contribute money, labor, and land to implement public works and new rural infrastructure. From 2020 to present, the Fatherland Front of To Hieu ward has carried out more than 100 propaganda campaigns to the people; mobilized contributions of over 15 billion VND to build infrastructure and public works, contributed over 15,000 working days, donated over 2,000 m2 of land; mobilized and supported the construction of 58 "Great Unity" houses for poor households, with a total cost of over 4 billion VND.

Organize visits and give gifts to families of war invalids, sick soldiers, families of policy beneficiaries, veterans, youth volunteers, and frontline workers on holidays, New Year, and War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27. Every year, 100% of residential areas organize the National Great Unity Festival on the occasion of the anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18), attracting a large number of people to participate, arousing and promoting the tradition of solidarity in the community, the bond between cadres and the people, truly becoming a national festival.

Currently, To Hieu ward has 100% of residential areas free of crime and social evils; 100% of residential areas are cultural residential areas; 98% of families are cultural families; 97% of residential areas are recognized as meeting food hygiene and safety criteria.

Quyet Thang Residential Group 8 is one of the bright spots in implementing the Campaign. Mr. Nguyen Van Tuong, Head of the Front Work Committee of Residential Group 8, said: Seeing the practical benefits of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, from 2021 to now, the Committee has coordinated and mobilized people to contribute funds to spread asphalt on alley roads, build cultural houses, install security cameras, demolish temporary houses, build a charity library, worth more than 905 million VND. Every year, the group is recognized as a cultural residential group.

The goal this year is to complete the elimination of 100% of temporary and dilapidated houses, ensuring that all people have safe and decent housing.
