Mr. Doan Anh Minh affirmed that the Festival is not only an occasion to honor cuisine and culture, but also an opportunity to show charity. With the theme "Joining hands to support our compatriots to overcome storms and floods", all activities of the Festival, from booths to charity programs, are aimed at sharing and supporting the community, especially the compatriots in the Central provinces who are suffering heavy losses due to storms and floods.
Every support from individuals and groups here directly contributes to charity activities, arousing the spirit of "mutual love", "helping each other" and promoting the strength of national unity.
As one of the annual events to promote cultural and culinary exchanges between Vietnam and international friends, the Festival attracts an increasing number of participants from embassies, foreign cultural centers, foreign affairs departments representing provinces and cities, businesses and units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The event contributes to strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding, while promoting cultural diplomacy, connecting relationships between foreign diplomatic agencies and local Foreign Affairs Departments through cultural and culinary exchange activities.
