Lang Son has a new Provincial Police Director

- On the morning of November 21, at Lang Son Provincial Police, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Lang Son province to organize the ceremony to announce and promulgate the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Personnel Organization, Ministry of Public Security announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Major General Nguyen Tien Trung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Lang Son Provincial Police to take up work and hold the position of Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police; announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thanh Tung, Deputy Director of the Department of Investigation Police on Crimes of Corruption, Economy, Smuggling, Ministry of Public Security to take up work and hold the position of Director of Lang Son Provincial Police. The decisions take effect from November 21, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Public Security affirmed: Although his tenure as Director of Lang Son Provincial Police was not long, Major General Nguyen Tien Trung has united with the Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police to effectively lead and direct all aspects of professional work, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by the local Party Committee, authorities, leaders and officers of the Provincial Police, and is suitable for the current position of Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police.

Regarding Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thanh Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Ngoc Lam requested that he continue to promote his bravery, intelligence, and exemplary pioneering spirit, and together with the Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial Police, unite, innovate, proactively and effectively advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in ensuring security and order, focusing on building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern Provincial Police force, tightening discipline and order, and improving the quality and efficiency of work.

He also requested officers and soldiers of Lang Son Provincial Police, directly comrades in the Party Committee, key officers of the Provincial Police to unite, cooperate, share responsibility with Senior Colonel Vu Thanh Tung to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
