Lang Son will hold a conference to announce the Provincial Planning and Investment Promotion in 2024

Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee chaired a press conference to inform about the organization of the Conference to announce the Provincial Planning and Investment Promotion of Lang Son Province in 2024.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen acknowledged and thanked the central and local press agencies for always accompanying and coordinating with the province and departments, branches, and localities to promote propaganda in the fields of socio -economic development, security and defense of the province. He requested that in the coming time, the press agencies continue to closely follow Decision 236/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on approving the planning of Lang Son province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and promote propaganda on the viewpoints and goals in the planning of the province.

Mr. Vu Hoang Quy, Director of Lang Son Department of Planning and Investment, said that the approval of Lang Son province's planning is a very important event, acting as a comprehensive, overall blueprint, defining the vision and long-term development goals for each industry and field and forming a framework for long-term socio-economic development. From this planning, Lang Son clearly identifies its potential, strengths, investment opportunities and concretizes them into a list of many priority investment projects, thereby attracting and inviting domestic and foreign strategic potential investors to be interested in and invest in the province.

At the press conference, the leaders of Lang Son province informed about the organization of the Conference to announce the Provincial Planning and Investment Promotion of Lang Son province in 2024 on April 20, 2024.

Accordingly, the Conference will be attended by Government leaders; leaders of the Party Central Committees, Committees of the National Assembly ; leaders of ministries and branches; representatives of enterprises inside and outside the province, and representatives of press agencies.

On the day of the Conference, Lang Son province will hold the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project and the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Border Gate Expressway Project; in the afternoon, there will be a Conference to Announce the Provincial Planning and Investment Promotion in 2024.

Within the framework of the conference, the province plans to grant 14 investment policies and investment registration certificates with a total investment capital of VND 18,602 billion; and grant 9 investment memorandums of understanding to investors with a total investment capital of more than VND 21,500 billion.

Representatives of central and local press agencies gave many opinions related to issues such as working conditions for reporters on the day of the conference; key projects for developing the province's transport infrastructure; building smart border gates; difficulties, obstacles and solutions in implementing projects, especially the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway project; site clearance for key transport projects; investment attraction, especially investment in the high-tech sector; green development; digital transformation, etc.
