Provincial leaders offer incense and flowers at Uncle Ho's Monument

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Uncle Ho's arrival in Cam Ranh Bay (October 18, 1946 - October 18, 2024), on the morning of October 18, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province came to offer incense and flowers at the Uncle Ho Monument (October 18 Park, Cam Ranh City). Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, armed forces and Cam Ranh City along with a large number of cadres, soldiers and people.

At the ceremony, delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a minute of silence to express gratitude and commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. At the same time, delegates reviewed the biography of the life and great revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the nation, national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity. In particular, they emphasized the historical event of Uncle Ho coming to Cam Ranh Bay on October 18, 1946 to meet with French High Commissioner D'Argenlieu. This was an important event in his rich, great and glorious revolutionary life, especially in the field of diplomatic struggle. This was also the only time Uncle returned to the South since leaving Nha Rong port to find a way to save the country, and Khanh Hoa province was the locality honored to bear his footprints. Promoting his contributions, the Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa province are determined to promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; continue to maintain and promote revolutionary traditions, solidarity, creativity, correctly apply the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, determined to successfully complete the set goals and tasks, contributing to building Khanh Hoa province to develop more and more comprehensively, soon becoming a city directly under the Central Government...
