In Giong Rieng commune, the delegation visited and encouraged Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoa (91 years old), residing in Ward 3, the wife of a martyr, and Mrs. Pham Thi Ut (91 years old), residing in Ward 6, the wife of a martyr and war invalid.
Next, the delegation went to Long Thanh commune, visited Mr. Pham Van Tuong, a 31% disabled veteran, and Mr. Nguyen Van Van, a 21% disabled veteran, both residing in Duong Go Vam hamlet.
At each destination, comrade Le Hong Tham kindly asked about the health and lives of the families, expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions to the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.
He affirmed: “The Party, State and people always remember the contributions of heroes, martyrs, war invalids and people with revolutionary contributions. An Giang province will continue to implement the policy of gratitude, taking care of the material and spiritual life of families with meritorious services. I hope that the families will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, be a shining example for future generations, and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous homeland.”
The working delegation led by Colonel Le Phu Thanh, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, visited and presented gifts to outstanding policy families in To Chau and Ha Tien wards (An Giang).
Specifically, the delegation visited four typical policy families, including: Mr. Pham Huy Mai (2/4 war invalid) and Mr. Tran Hoang Duong (resistance activist infected with toxic chemicals), residing in Ha Tien ward; Ms. Le Thi Be (family of martyr) and Ms. Tieu Thi Mieu (family supporting the Revolution), residing in To Chau ward.
