Provincial leaders visit and present gifts to families with meritorious services and workers on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

*On the morning of July 26, comrade Duong Van An, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and presented gifts to war invalids and policy families in Vinh Yen city on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024). Accompanying him were comrade Nguyen Tuan Khanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Vinh Yen city.

Visiting the family of Mrs. Nghiem Thi My, born in 1938, in Han Lu residential group, Khai Quang ward, mother of martyr Nguyen Quoc Khanh who died in 1980 in Laos and the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Ban, born in 1947, in Vinh Thinh Dong residential group, Khai Quang ward, a war invalid, sick soldier, resistance activist who was exposed to toxic chemicals and was captured and imprisoned by the enemy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Duong Van An kindly encouraged, asked about their health, daily life and expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions of the families of war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services in the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, encourage andeducate their children to foster patriotism, love for their compatriots and the Fatherland; unite and contribute to building Vinh Phuc to become increasingly rich and prosperous.

On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An also requested all levels and sectors in the province and Vinh Yen city to continue to pay attention to implementing well the work of "Repaying gratitude", taking care of the material and spiritual life of war invalids, families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services to the revolution, creating all conditions for families to have an increasingly better life.

Along with that, organize and seriously, closely and effectively implement the Party and State's policies for those who have contributed to the revolution, ensuring that war invalids, families of policy beneficiaries and those who have contributed to the revolution enjoy full benefits of policies according to the Party and State's regulations.

The delegation visited the family of war invalid Nguyen Van Lap, born in 1947, Thang Loi residential group, Huong Canh town; Mrs. Do Thi Sang, born in 1945, wife of martyr Nguyen Van Tuat, Truong Thu village, Tan Phong commune.

In a solemn and warm atmosphere, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Bui Huy Vinh, Standing Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation for the contributions and dedication of martyrs' relatives and those who have contributed to the cause of struggle, national liberation, and national reunification.

The delegation visited Mr. Do Van San, born in 1951, in Tan Tien village, Dao Tru commune, an anti-American soldier, with a 41% exposure to toxic chemicals; Mr. Ly Van Vinh, born in 1959, a war invalid in Dao Tru Thuong village, Dao Tru commune, an anti-Polpot soldier (southwestern border).

At the families, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Trung Hai kindly visited the health and life of war invalids, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and families with preferential policies; at the same time, expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the contributions of heroic martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, people with meritorious services, and families with preferential policies in the cause of struggle, national liberation, and national reunification.

On this occasion, Tam Dao district also has gifts for war invalids, families of policy beneficiaries, and people with revolutionary contributions.

Representatives of the family and local leaders expressed their joy and gratitude for the attention of the provincial leaders and delegates; at the same time, they affirmed that they will continue to promote the traditions of the family and homeland, unite to well implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State and emulation movements to build increasingly innovative families and homeland.

The delegation visited the family of Mrs. Tran Thi Ren, born in 1931 in Bao An residential group, Dong Xuan ward, the wife of martyr Tran Ngoc Bao who died in the resistance war against the US, and the family of Mr. Doan Duc Ngo, born in 1940 in residential group 7, Dong Xuan ward, who was infected with Agent Orange during the resistance war against the US, reducing his working capacity by 41 - 60%.

At the families visited, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Viet Van and members of the delegation kindly asked about their health and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, sick soldiers, and families of those who contributed to the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland.
