Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee leaders visit families affected by landslide in Van Yen

On the morning of July 14, the working delegation of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Mr. Hoang Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, visited the victims of the landslide in Khe Que village, Xuan Ai commune and worked at the Van Yen Regional Medical Center.

At the working session, the delegation listened to an overview report on the Center's operations, conducted a field survey of the management organization model, professional capacity, infrastructure and quality of medical examination and treatment services.

Immediately after grasping the situation, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Giang directly visited, encouraged and sympathized with the family of the victim due to the landslide that collapsed the house, injuring 3 people in Khe Que village, Xuan Ai commune on the night of July 13, 2025. He expressed his deep concern and requested the health sector and local authorities to continue to monitor and support the victim's family in both medical and living conditions.

The delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and results that the Center has achieved in caring for and protecting people's health. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also directed a number of key contents to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, promote the core role of grassroots health care, and better meet the needs of people in the new situation.
