Hanoi City leaders will dialogue and resolve difficulties with farmers

Hanoi City leaders plan to have a dialogue with farmers in December 2024.

The conference is expected to be held in person and online in December 2024 with the theme:   “Promoting the potential and advantages of the Capital to support farmers in cooperation, applying digital transformation, developing sustainable agriculture and rural economy ”.

This is an opportunity to listen to the thoughts, aspirations, reflections, opinions and recommendations of cadres and farmer members in Hanoi; focus on concretizing the Party's policies and implementing the State's laws in the spirit of creating the most favorable mechanisms and conditions for farmers to participate in socio-economic development; especially in the process of restructuring the agricultural sector and developing the rural economy, improving the material and spiritual life of farmers in the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.

On the basis of dialogue, proposals and recommendations on issues of mechanisms and policies for the Hanoi People's Committee and the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee to consider, decide and direct relevant departments, branches and sectors to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles so that farmers can feel secure in production and business; at the same time, promote farmers' creativity to contribute to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development goals set forth in the Resolution of the 17th Hanoi Party Congress.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Farmers' Association to be responsible for preparing the conference contents, sending documents to the Farmers' Associations of districts and towns on recommendations, proposals and summarizing recommendations and proposals of farmers in the capital. Prepare the contents, policies and mechanisms of the Central Government and the City on the goals, tasks and solutions for building and developing commodity production areas.   Concentrated industrialization associated with production and product consumption chains, brand building in the agricultural sector in the period 2021 - 2025 and until 2030...

The Hanoi People's Committee requested that the organization of the dialogue ensure the leadership of the Party, be practical, effective, and close to the actual situation of the capital; comply with the regulations of the Party, the laws of the State, the management and administration of the government; promote the role of supervision and social criticism of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. Organize the conference thoughtfully, closely, scientifically, ensure security and order, democracy, openness, objectivity and avoid formality.
