Provincial People's Committee leaders inspect community tourism model in Phuoc Binh commune

On May 19, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of implementing the community tourism model (DLCĐ) in Hanh Rac 2 village, Phuoc Binh commune (Bac Ai). Accompanying him were leaders of relevant departments, branches, localities and units.

Phuoc Binh commune has 15 households registered to implement the community-based community-based community model. Bac Ai district has coordinated with the Vietnam Community-based Community-based Community Association to advise and guide the selection of 10 households to implement the model stilt house of the Raglai community in Hanh Rac 2 village. The cost of implementing the stilt house from the provincial budget supported by Decision No. 14 dated February 15, 2019 is 35 million VND/household, counterpart funds from the people and mobilized funds from businesses. As of May 10, 2023, 9/10 model houses have been implemented, of which 2 houses have been 100% completed and put into operation, 1 house is 90% completed, 3 houses have completed the frame; 3 houses have completed the foundation and are waiting for materials to be imported to build the floor.

At the inspection, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote and advertise community-based tourism in Phuoc Binh commune. At the same time, actively support the People's Committee of Bac Ai district to promote the Raglai Cultural Festival event on the occasion of the Ninh Thuan Grape-Wine Festival in 2023; The People's Committee of Bac Ai district directed the People's Committee of Phuoc Binh commune to mobilize people to actively participate in community-based tourism development, ensure environmental landscape work in the community-based tourism village; coordinate with the Vietnam Community-based Tourism Association to advise and guide people to complete the stilt house models of the Raglai community. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Tourism Association to mobilize members of the Tourism Association, businesses, organizations and individuals to sponsor funds and equipment, contributing to the completion of the stilt house model of the Raglai ethnic group to soon serve tourists on the occasion of the Ninh Thuan Grape-Wine Festival in 2023.
