Lao Cai: Grade 10 entrance exam will take place from June 3 - 6

Accordingly, on June 3, the Examination Council will meet to prepare the necessary conditions for the exam; candidates will go to the examination room to complete the exam procedures, review the exam registration information and listen to the announcement of the exam regulations and schedule.

On June 4 and the morning of June 5, non-specialized subjects will be tested, including Literature, Math, and Foreign Language. The time for the Math and Literature subjects is 120 minutes, and the time for the Foreign Language subject is 60 minutes.

On the afternoon of June 5 and the morning of June 6, the specialized subjects will be tested, including: Math, Natural Science 1 - Physics, Natural Science 2 - Chemistry, Literature, English, Chinese, Natural Science 3 - Biology, History, Geography, Information Technology and the specialized foreign language speaking test. The time for the specialized subjects is 150 minutes, the speaking test is 8 minutes (including 5 minutes for preparation and 3 minutes for speaking).

The schools have carefully prepared support work for candidates.

For non-specialized high schools (including public high schools, non-public high schools and continuingeducation high schools), entrance exams are held with 3 compulsory subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language. The exam content is within the general education program at the secondary school level, mainly the 9th grade program.

The organization of 10th grade high school admissions is always organized seriously, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Lao Cai Specialized High School will organize an entrance exam consisting of 3 general subjects (3 non-specialized subjects): Math, Literature, Foreign Language (as for non-specialized high schools) and specialized subjects for each specialized class. Students who are not admitted to Lao Cai Specialized High School can use the results of the general subjects to apply for admission to other high schools in the enrollment area (including the provincial Ethnic Boarding High School and ethnic boarding high schools in districts/towns) like students taking the exam at the school.

Boarding ethnic high schools organize entrance exams like non-specialized high schools.
