Lao Cai and Yen Bai Departments of Education and Training agree on some contents to prepare for merger

At the conference, leaders of the Departmentof Education and Training of the two provinces informed, discussed and agreed on the plan to receive Lao Cai students to the new administrative center (phase 1); prepared facilities and equipment for civil servants to work at the Lao Cai Department of Education and Training (after the merger); reviewed the mechanisms and policies of the two provinces for teachers, managers and students; agreed on the plan to name schools of the two provinces when merging; discussed some contents and targets for education and training development in the period 2025 - 2030.

Immediately after the conference, the delegation of the two departments visited and conducted a field survey at the Canadian International School - Lao Cai (CIS - Lao Cai) and Lao Cai Specialized High School (photo below) .

On May 25, the working delegation of the two departments will conduct a field survey at a number of educational institutions in Bac Ha district.

Previously, on May 16, in Yen Bai city, the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces had a working session to inspect, review, and prepare conditions for the merger, especially the conditions for receiving students who are children of officials, civil servants, and public employees of Lao Cai province when their parents move to work at the new provincial administrative center.
