Celebrating 30 years of establishment of the Red Cross Association of Long Doi Son Pagoda area

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 30-year tradition of the establishment and development of the Long Doi Son Pagoda Red Cross Association; acknowledged the contributions of generations of cadres, members, volunteers and people. When it was first established, the Long Doi Son Pagoda Red Cross Association had only 300 members. Up to now, it has developed a network of members in the communes of Tien Son, Dinh Xa, Tan Hiep, Yen Nam, Tien Ngoai with 5,000 members participating regularly every quarter in 26 branches. Every year, on the occasion of holidays, Tet, and major anniversaries, the association organizes visits and presents gifts to members and families in difficult circumstances in the province. In the first months of 2025 alone, the total value of the association's humanitarian activities reached more than 100 million VND. Of which, more than 200 gifts were donated to households in difficult circumstances and poor households in the province; Coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Association to donate 18 wheelchairs to the poor and disabled.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leader of the Provincial Red Cross Association praised the achievements of the Red Cross Association in Long Doi Son Pagoda area in recent years. At the same time, he emphasized: To promote the achievements, the Red Cross Association in Long Doi Son Pagoda area needs to continue to promote propaganda so that cadres and members are clearly aware of the role, position and responsibility to build an increasingly strong organization.

Actively and proactively implement effectively emulation movements, humanitarian and charity campaigns, care for the material and spiritual lives of people in difficulty and misfortune, victims of Agent Orange... creating consensus in the whole society on humanitarian activities.
