Lao Cai: Participate in the Southern Trade Promotion Fair in 2025

CTTĐT - On the evening of November 18, 2025, at Ba Ria Square (Ba Ria Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance solemnly held the opening ceremony of the Trade Promotion Fair for Cooperatives in the Southern region in 2025, taking place from November 18 to November 23, 2025. The event gathered 100 cooperatives and 50 enterprises from 25 provinces and cities across the country, introducing thousands of typical products of the collective economy.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Fair.

Participating in this year's Fair, Lao Cai Province Cooperative Union participated with 9 typical cooperatives, representing the strengths of the locality such as specialty agricultural products, OCOP products, medicinal herbs, processed products, handicrafts, etc. Lao Cai Cooperatives brought to the fair many products meeting VietGAP and OCOP 3-4 star standards, along with products with export potential, demonstrating dynamism and innovation in production and business.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van - President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance emphasized: "The fair is an important opportunity to spread the value of the collective economy , connecting cooperative products with modern markets and consumers nationwide. We expect this event to create a strong momentum for cooperatives in innovating production, building brands and developing trade cooperation."

The 2025 Fair is part of the National Trade Promotion Program, aiming to create a flexible connection environment between cooperatives - enterprises - distribution systems. Cooperatives have the opportunity to directly access major retailers such as Aeon, Go, Winmart, Lotte, Saigon Co.op ..., thereby expanding the market and participating more deeply in the modern supply chain.

In addition to the exhibition activities, the Fair also includes many practical programs such as: trade promotion and value chain connection seminars; trade connection between cooperatives and distribution enterprises; support for digital transformation in production and business; capital consulting and credit connection; information on the Halal market.

The participation of Lao Cai Cooperatives not only contributes to promoting the image and brand of local agricultural products, but also affirms the role of the province's collective economy in the national cooperation and linkage network. This is also an opportunity for Lao Cai Cooperatives to seek partners, sign product consumption contracts and access new development trends, aiming at the goal of expanding the market and sustainable development.
