Lao Cai implements 176 projects to support production development

In particular, the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction will implement projects to support the development of agricultural and forestry production, including projects: Support for the development of production linked to the value chain; support for the development of production to diversify community livelihoods. The National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas will implement projects: Support for the development of production according to the value chain; support for the development of production to diversify community livelihoods; support for the development of areas growing precious medicinal herbs. The National Target Program for New Rural Development will implement projects to support the development of production according to the value chain.

Lao Cai province will implement many projects to support the development of precious medicinal herb growing areas.

To effectively implement the projects, in 2024, Lao Cai province will deploy 5 groups of solutions, namely: Project management and implementation organization; capital mobilization solutions; support mechanisms and policies; project implementation monitoring and evaluation; promoting extensive propaganda of the Party's policies and the State's policies on supporting production development and project implementation goals to all levels, all sectors, all classes of people, especially ethnic minorities, to change and transform agricultural production thinking into agricultural economic thinking.
