By the end of July 31, 2025, Lao Cai province achieved 78.96 points, of which: the transparency index reached 15.34 points, the progress index reached 19.14 points, the online public service index reached 15.41 points, the satisfaction index reached 17.97 points and the digitalization index reached 11.1 points.

To promptly resolve administrative procedures for people after the merger, Lao Cai Provincial Public Administration Service Center has coordinated with the People's Committees of communes to review staff, create accounts and delegate authority to process records, and at the same time, train on the digitization process and provide instructions on implementing electronic storage for civil servants in charge of receiving and resolving administrative procedures.
The Provincial Public Administration Service Center has also reviewed equipment, machinery, and offices of the Commune-level Public Administration Service Center; upgraded the province's administrative procedure settlement information system to meet the two-level management model and connect, integrate, and share data with the National Public Service Portal.

Currently, the Provincial and Commune Public Administration Service Centers are providing about 2,230 administrative procedures with over 50 provincial administrative procedures submitted from the commune level and nearly 420 administrative procedures providing online public services throughout the province.

Up to now, after 1 month of implementing the new government model, the whole province has received nearly 53,340 applications with nearly 98% of applications being resolved on time and ahead of schedule.
On average, the Provincial Public Administration Service Center supports about 250 - 300 people per day to resolve administrative procedures. At the commune level, each commune has an average of about 20 - 25 people per day.
Mr. Tran Tri Dung, Deputy Director of Lao Cai Provincial Public Administration Service Center, said: To help people submit administrative procedures anywhere, from August 1, 2025, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has deployed 143 administrative procedures to be implemented without administrative boundaries and it is expected that by October 2025, 100% of administrative procedures will be implemented without administrative boundaries.
The synchronous implementation of solutions in handling public administrative procedures right after the implementation of two-level local government has contributed to creating convenience for people and businesses, helping to shorten waiting time and reduce travel costs.
