Lap Thach basically completed site clearance for the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project.

With 29.5 column footing locations, a total line length of more than 13km, and a total area requiring site clearance of nearly 25 hectares for the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV Transmission Line project, Lap Thach district has resolutely taken action, mobilizing people to agree with the major policies of the Party and State.

Contractors focus on constructing the foot of column 399 of the 500kV line in Xuan Hoa commune (Lap Thach).

Up to now, the District People's Committee has completed the payment and handed over the clean site of 29.5 column footing positions to the construction unit, ensuring the project implementation progress according to the plan of Vietnam Electricity Group. The corridor has been counted and handed over to the investor 21.1/21.6 hectares, reaching 98% of the total corridor area.

The 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen Transmission Line Project, invested by Power Project Management Board 1 - Vietnam Electricity Group, is an urgent project, playing an important role in promoting economic development in the Northern region.

Therefore, Lap Thach District People's Committee proposed that the Provincial People's Committee soon allocate funds, create favorable conditions for Lap Thach District to deploy infrastructure construction in resettlement areas, resolve problems in the remaining areas, help people whose land is subject to recovery to stabilize their lives soon, and ensure favorable conditions for the construction unit to complete the project on schedule.
