Deploying Tam Duong I Industrial Park project - Area 3

On the morning of June 27, comrade Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board report on the implementation of investment preparation for the Tam Duong I Industrial Park - Area 3 project (Tam Duong district). Tam Duong I Industrial Park - Area 3 was approved for investment by the Provincial Party Committee in 2009. In 2014, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 981/QD - UBND assigning Quang Loi Infrastructure Construction Investment Joint Stock Company as the project investor.

However, because the tank training track of the Armored Corps, under the Armored Command ( Ministry of National Defense ), is located in an industrial park, it leads to difficulties in the deployment process.

In 2018, the Provincial Party Committee issued Document No. 1872 on revoking the project investment policy. In 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 240 on revoking and terminating the legal validity of decisions related to the planning of Tam Duong I Industrial Park - Area 3.

Currently, the investor consortium including Song Hong Thu Do Group Joint Stock Company and Binh Minh Song Hong Infrastructure Joint Stock Company has submitted a proposal to invest in the construction and business of infrastructure of Tam Duong I Industrial Park - Area 3.

According to information from the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, the difficulty in implementing the project is related to site clearance, including the area of ​​the practice road in the industrial park and the residential land area in the project of 50.9 hectares (accounting for about 28% of the total project implementation area).

After listening to representatives of departments, branches and investors assess the legal regulations, investment procedures and propose project implementation plans, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong assigned the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to conduct field surveys, report to the Provincial People's Committee to advise on the implementation plan of the Tam Duong I Industrial Park - Area 3 project before July 10, coordinate to advise the Provincial People's Committee to have a document agreeing with the Armored Command; assign the Department of Construction to study and adjust the zoning plan in accordance with the actual situation as a basis for project implementation in the coming time.
