Pioneering cooperatives bring products to market integration

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - To improve operational efficiency, cooperatives in the province not only invest in science and technology to create prestigious and quality products but also proactively apply modern supply methods to integrate products into the market, connecting directly with consumers. From those pioneering cooperative models, up to now, there have been hundreds of cooperatives that have mastered production technology and built a sustainable product supply chain, contributing to increasing income for members and workers.

Pioneering cooperatives bring products to market integration

Muong Deng Tourism and Agricultural and Forestry Development Cooperative (Lang Chanh) participated in promoting products at a provincial event.

Originally a cooperative producing and trading traditional agricultural and forestry products, Binh Son Agricultural and Forestry Service Cooperative (Trieu Son) has successfully developed tea, honey, and Solanum procumbens tea products that meet OCOP standards. Up to now, the cooperative has become one of the typical examples in connecting and expanding product consumption markets. Not only supplying the market through traditional channels, the cooperative also proactively participates in fairs and trade events to promote products and seek associated consumption units.

Director of the Cooperative Le Dinh Tu said: Through actively participating in trade promotion events and product promotion, the Cooperative has found consumption partners in 30 provinces and cities across the country. In particular, since 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, realizing the great potential of online sales, members of the Cooperative have seriously invested in e-commerce channels. On average, each year the Cooperative supplies the market with 40 - 50 tons of products, of which about 30% are consumed through e-commerce. Revenue is more than 3 billion VND/year.

It is known that among the 20 official members of Binh Son Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative, many members have skillfully and effectively used digital platforms such as e-commerce platforms Lazada, Tiki, Shopee, Sen Do... or social networks Facebook, Zalo, TikTok to promote, introduce and sell products, contributing to spreading and building brands for products in the market.

Although it is a new member of the Provincial Cooperative Union, Muong Deng Agricultural and Forestry Development and Tourism Cooperative (Lang Chanh) has made efforts and actively brought products with the flavor of the mountains and forests to the market. Established in early 2024 with 14 members, the cooperative has linked members to develop a number of typical products, such as: Khoai honey, Doi seeds, Mac Khen, pig tongue bamboo shoots, tangled bamboo shoots, hand-carved bamboo chopsticks... At the same time, it has linked to support local people to consume a number of agricultural products such as grass duck, grass pig, gourd, squash, vegetables...

Director of Ha Thi Xem Cooperative said: As a "young" cooperative with new and unique products, we have actively participated in trade promotions inside and outside the province to introduce products to the market; so that consumers can directly experience and understand more about the cultural values ​​in each of our products. In addition, the Cooperative also takes advantage of social networking platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, YouTube... to introduce products to consumers. With efforts and actively bringing products to the market, in 2024, after 8 months of establishment, the Cooperative's revenue reached more than 500 million VND, creating jobs for dozens of local workers.

It is known that Ms. Ha Thi Xem has actively researched and learned to directly make and guide members of the cooperative to create short videos to introduce and promote the unit's products. At the same time, she built an online sales channel on Facebook, Zalo, Tiktok, Shopee, thereby developing a large number of customers inside and outside the province. Currently, the cooperative's products are not only welcomed by customers in the province but have also reached a number of provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Vung Tau, Binh Duong...

According to statistics, by June 2025, Thanh Hoa province had 1,364 cooperatives in operation, of which about 75% of cooperatives were operating effectively in production and business. Currently, hundreds of products of cooperatives have been and are being consumed goods not only because of their good quality but also because of the dynamism and ingenuity of the cooperative management board and members in promoting and integrating products into the market. Typical examples include: Hai Binh Seafood Processing Cooperative (Nghi Son town) bringing its products to the markets of 30 provinces and cities across the country; Mai An Tiem Agricultural Cooperative (Nga Son) with more than 20 safe vegetable and fruit products consumed in the market; Thanh Phat Macadamia Cooperative (Nhu Xuan) actively participating in fairs and events to promote products...

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union Le Hong Hai shared: Bringing many products of cooperatives, cooperative groups, and members in the collective economic sector to effectively integrate into the market is one of the goals that the Cooperative Union aims for in order to improve the operational efficiency of member cooperatives. Therefore, every year, the Provincial Cooperative Union always organizes training on sales skills on the Internet; guides how to put products on e-commerce platforms. At the same time, organizes trade promotion events for cooperatives to participate and introduce products to markets inside and outside the province. Through these activities, many advanced models in the collective economic sector have been multiplied to participate in the market.
