Delegation of Thai Nguyen province visited and presented gifts to Ban Khoi High School (Laos)

On the occasion of visiting and working in Luang Prabang province, on November 18, the delegation of Thai Nguyen province led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to Ban Khoi High School. This is a school that bears a special commemorative mark of the solidarity and friendship between Thai Nguyen province and Luang Prabang province. Accompanying the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Linh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of a provincial department and branch.

In 2018, the delegation of Thai Nguyen province led by Mr. Bui Xuan Hoa, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited Luang Prabang province and signed the second memorandum of understanding with Luang Prabang province. In particular, Thai Nguyen province supported Luang Prabang province to build a friendship project in the field of education , with a scale of 10 classrooms, a total investment of about 7 billion VND at Ban Khoi High School.

The delegation of Thai Nguyen province presented Ban Khoi High School with 500 million VND to buy computers for teaching.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Sports of Luang Prabang province and Ban Khoi High School presented gifts to the working delegation of Thai Nguyen province.

To contribute to creating conditions for students of Ban Khoi High School to have better learning opportunities, helping them improve their level of information technology and digital transformation, at this visit, the delegation of Thai Nguyen province presented Ban Khoi High School with 500 million VND to buy computers to serve the school's teaching work.

Speaking here, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province expressed hope that with the gift from Thai Nguyen province, Ban Khoi High School will soon purchase computers for teaching, helping to improve the quality of learning.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province also requested the Department of Education and Sports of Luang Prabang province to study and propose to competent authorities to pay attention to and improve the quality of education and continue to invest in Ban Khoi High School, worthy of being a friendship school between Thai Nguyen and Luang Prabang provinces.

Along with that, in order to continue to strengthen the cooperative relationship, especially in the field of education and training, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh hopes that the Department of Education and Sports of Luang Prabang province and the Board of Directors of Ban Khoi High School will pay attention to, train and orient future careers for the school's students, so that after graduating from high school, they can go to study at universities and colleges in Thai Nguyen province. He hopes that the students will always strive to practice, study well, mature and contribute their efforts and intelligence to their homeland and country.
