At the workshop, representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment approved the draft price list, stating the legal basis, construction methods and proposed prices for land types. The workshop aimed to complete the draft before submitting it to the Provincial People's Council to issue the land price list according to regulations.
Delegates discussed the scope of application, price determination criteria, adjustment mechanisms, ensuring publicity, transparency and market suitability. Many opinions suggested reviewing and standardizing data, paying special attention to specific factors of each locality after the merger to avoid large differences that could affect people's rights.
Through the comments, the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment will continue to complete the draft before submitting it to the competent authority. These comments are an important source of information to help the province build a suitable and feasible land price list that meets management requirements in the new period.
Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment - Nguyen Van Kha emphasized: Completing the first draft of the land price list is considered an important step in the process of building the land price list, creating a legal basis for determining financial obligations on land, ensuring harmony of interests between the State, people and businesses.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment requested organizations and individuals to send their contributions in writing before the end of the consultation period. The issuance of the first land price list aims to establish a unified legal basis for land management, declaration, tax collection and site clearance compensation, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

According to the 2024 Land Law and the decrees guiding the land price list, which were first issued and applied from January 1, 2026. After merging into provinces, the work of building land price lists became complicated due to changes in administrative boundaries, management scale and population structure.
The current land price list will expire from December 31, 2025. Determining new land prices must meet many requirements: complying with regulations; updating and adjusting land prices in accordance with infrastructure, new urban-rural areas after the merger; establishing a transparent and fair legal corridor to calculate land use fees, land rents, taxes, fees and related charges.
