Van Don District Labor Federation: Launching 7 grassroots unions and providing support to workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month

In response to Workers' Month 2025, on the afternoon of May 9, the Van Don District Labor Federation held a launching ceremony for newly established grassroots trade unions in 2025; signed collective labor agreements between employers and representatives of employees at enterprises in the area; and provided support to workers in difficult circumstances.

At the program, the Van Don District Labor Federation announced and launched 7 new grassroots unions with a total of 101 union members, including: Thuan Phong Construction Development Company Limited, Tuan Lam Joint Stock Company, Cai Rong HCM Fish Sauce Joint Stock Company, Phuong Bac Construction Architecture and Technology Company Limited, Hoang Truong Joint Stock Company, Manh Anh Gold and Gemstone Company Limited and Minh Decor Quang Ninh Joint Stock Company, reaching 116.67% of the plan assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation. Thereby, it shows the proactive and determined spirit of the Van Don District Labor Federation in developing union members, expanding the union network in non-state enterprises, contributing significantly to strengthening the union organization from the grassroots level.

The launch of grassroots trade unions not only demonstrates the accompanying role of the trade union in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, but also contributes to building harmonious and stable labor relations in enterprises. Immediately after the launch ceremony, 6 grassroots trade unions signed collective labor agreements with enterprises.

On this occasion, the District Labor Federation also presented 12 gifts from the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to support workers and laborers in especially difficult circumstances in the district.
