On August 28, at the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, Van Noi village, Hong Tien commune (Khoai Chau), the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khoai Chau district held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic and inaugurate the restoration and embellishment of the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Huu Nghia, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also attending were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, agencies and branches of the province; representatives of the leaders of Nam Dan district ( Nghe An ).
Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - President Ho Chi Minh's mother is the embodiment of Vietnamese women, possessing noble qualities: responsible, kind, patient, hard-working, devoted to her husband and children. To show respect and honor her great contributions, in 2003, the Provincial People's Committee decided to start building her temple (now the Memorial House) on the land rich in revolutionary and studious traditions, the original home of the Hoang family in Van Noi village, Hong Tien commune, Khoai Chau district.
The project has a strong traditional architectural style, in harmony with the space and landscape of the Northern Delta countryside, in the old grounds of Van Noi communal house, with a total area of 4,377.6m2 and was inaugurated in 2005. This is one of the important projects of the province, practically welcoming the 16th Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress, a place for people from all walks of life inside and outside the province to come and offer incense, visit, commemorate and express their respect and admiration for the good qualities, the whole life of sacrifice for husband and children and the dedication to the Vietnamese nation of a great son, that is President Ho Chi Minh.
On July 26, 2023, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 1555/QD-CTUBND to rank the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan (mother of President Ho Chi Minh), Hong Tien commune, Khoai Chau district as a provincial-level historical relic. After nearly 20 years of use, some items of the relic have deteriorated. In order to preserve, maintain and promote the values of the relic; with the attention of provincial leaders and departments, branches and sectors, in early 2024, the People's Committee of Khoai Chau district implemented the Project to restore and embellish the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan and auxiliary works, with a total investment of more than 40.4 billion VND. Including the following items: Restoration and embellishment of items of the Memorial House; purchase of furniture, trees and some other items; investment in renovating and upgrading the road to the Memorial House...
After 6 months of construction, with a sense of responsibility, determination, effort, and overcoming difficulties. Up to now, the restoration and embellishment of items and auxiliary works of the Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House has been completed.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia praised and acknowledged the efforts of Khoai Chau district and Hong Tien commune in preserving and promoting the value of the historical relic of Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, Khoai Chau district and Hong Tien commune continue to strengthen the management, restoration and promotion of the value of the relic in accordance with the Law on Cultural Heritage and related regulations; further enhance the capacity and leadership role of Party committees and organizations at all levels, the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in managing, preserving and promoting the values of historical relics and cultural heritages; develop a master plan for the relic system associated with the plan for managing, preserving and promoting historical relics and cultural heritages in the district; have a plan to manage and promote the value of Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House to become a red address, a destination for tourists...
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van presented the Provincial Historical Relic Certificate of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House to representatives of the leaders of Khoai Chau district, Hong Tien commune, Van Noi village; delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the restoration and embellishment of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van presented the Party Committee, government, and people of Khoai Chau district with a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh with his answer to a reporter from Granma Newspaper (Cuba) on July 14, 1969: "I dedicate my whole life to my people".
