Groundbreaking ceremony and launching of the restoration and embellishment of the Bui village communal house and pagoda relic

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On May 24, in Quang Giao commune (Quang Xuong), Danko Group Joint Stock Company (Danko Group) coordinated with the People's Committee of Quang Giao commune to organize the groundbreaking ceremony and launch the donation campaign to restore and embellish the historical and cultural relic of Bui village's Communal House - Pagoda in the period of 2025 - 2030. This is a spiritual and cultural project bearing the historical and cultural imprint of Thanh land. Danko Group is honored to accompany as the main sponsor for this project of special significance.

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the Project to restore and embellish the historical and cultural relic of Bui village's Communal House - Pagoda in the 2025 - 2030 period.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of Thanh Hoa provincial departments, agencies, and branches, local authorities, a large number of people, along with the Board of Directors and employees of Danko Group. The event not only demonstrated the beauty of culture and spirituality but also affirmed the sense of responsibility in preserving and promoting the value of national heritage in the midst of modern development.

Venerable monks, nuns, delegates, Buddhists and a large number of people attended the ceremony.

The Communal House - Pagoda of Bui village was ranked as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic according to Decision No. 167/QD-UBND dated January 17, 2011. This is an ancient architectural complex with special historical, religious and artistic values, associated with the ancestors. The communal house worships Cao Son, a talented general of the Hung King period who taught people to control water, reclaim land and reclaim land from the sea to build the homeland. In gratitude to those who contributed, the residents of Bui village have long honored him as the Thanh Hoang, worshiped at the communal house. The feudal dynasties all had decrees to confer the title of superior deity on the deity. The communal house also worships Nguyen Xuan Mau, a person who had the merit of reclaiming land, settling down and forming the coastal community of Thanh Hoa for many generations. Over time, the relic is currently deteriorating and needs to be preserved and restored so as not to be lost.

On May 8, 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 6405/UBND-THDT agreeing on the investment policy to renovate, restore, and embellish the historical and cultural relic of Bui Village Communal House - Pagoda, Quang Giao Commune, Quang Xuong District. The project has a scale of about 4,410 m2, with a total investment of over 100 billion VND, and is expected to complete the entire project by 2030.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of Danko Group shared: “We are honored to accompany the preservation of a precious historical relic of our homeland Quang Giao. With the close guidance of the local government, the consensus of the people and the sincere heart towards the origin, we believe that the project will soon be completed, becoming a spiritual support and a unique cultural symbol of this land.”

The historical and cultural relic of Bui village communal house and pagoda is a place for cultural and spiritual activities of Buddhists and local people.
