Provincial police guide people through procedures for issuing criminal records.
Implementing the Party and State's policy on streamlining the organizational apparatus, from March 1, 2025, together with the police force nationwide, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police officially received and issued criminal record certificates (CRPs) from the Department of Justice.
To carry out the new tasks, the Provincial Police have promoted the application of information technology, implemented online reception of records on the Ministry of Public Security 's Public Service Portal and the National Public Service Portal, creating maximum convenience for people and businesses. Along with that, the receiving and returning result departments have arranged competent staff, enthusiastically guiding and answering questions, which are recognized and highly appreciated by the people.
It is known that Thanh Hoa Police are currently receiving applications for PLLTP issuance through 4 forms: Receiving directly at the citizen reception department of the Public Administration Center, via the National Public Service Portal, via the VneID application and by post. In particular, the unit is focusing on propagating and guiding people to carry out procedures for granting PLLTP via the VNeID application.
After more than 2 months of receiving the new task, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police has received over 12,000 new records; processed and returned results for over 11,000 records, with nearly 1,500 online records and over 6,000 direct records. At the same time, nearly 3,700 previously pending records (handover and receipt from the Department of Justice) were resolved. The implementation of procedures for receiving and processing citizen records was carried out publicly and transparently, and the return of results to citizens was ensured to be quick, timely and in accordance with regulations.
