The 2025 Lotus Village Festival takes place from May 10 to 19 in Vinh city and Nam Dan district (Nghe An province) and is organized on a national scale with many rich and unique activities to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
This is an important political and cultural activity, expressing the people's gratitude and respect for President Ho Chi Minh.
The opening ceremony of the 2025 Sen Village Festival and the inauguration of the "Uncle Ho Visits His Hometown" Monument is expected to be held on the evening of May 15, 2025 at Sen Village Stadium (Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District) and will be broadcast live.
The opening night will feature a 15-minute fireworks display for the public and visitors.
Many cultural and sports activities were also held during the Festival such as: Inauguration of the 9-storey waterfall at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan; Running race "Journey in Uncle Ho's footsteps - For the security of the Fatherland"; Film week about Uncle Ho and exchange with cinema artists, film crews about Uncle Ho in Nghe An; National Wrestling Championship 2025.
