Accordingly, the two sides will cooperate in researching, producing and trading F1 seeds of hybrid corn varieties, transferring LVN10 hybrid corn varieties (with fees); sharing and transferring the right to exploit and trade some hybrid corn varieties of the Maize Research Institute (to be specifically determined for each year and period). Exchange information in research on breeding and technology for producing hybrid seeds, coordinate research on breeding, testing, trial planting, inspection, quality testing and introducing and putting new corn varieties into production.
Leaders of Nha Ho Cotton Research and Agricultural Development Institute and Maize Research Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in research, development, production and trading of corn varieties.
The signing will help strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in research and development of corn varieties in Vietnam. At the same time, it will enhance experience in research, selection, and production of varieties; develop and introduce new corn varieties into production; and enforce ownership and commercial rights of LVN10 corn varieties and other corn varieties.
