On February 27, 2025, in Hai Phong city, Nam Dinh Vu Unionchem Port Company Limited and the PTSC Thanh Hoa - CECO - PEC Joint Venture held a ceremony to sign a turnkey contract for the Nam Dinh Vu Chemical Warehouse project. This event has promoted the progress of project implementation as well as opened up development opportunities and marked an important step forward in the strategic cooperation between the parties.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the parties, including: Mr. Lin Yen-Kuan - Director of Nam Dinh Vu Unionchem Port Co., Ltd. - Project Investor, Mr. Pham Hung Phuong - Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa Company - the leading unit of the contractor consortium, together with Mr. Luu Ngoc Vinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of CECO Company and Mr. Luong Quang Hieu - Director of PEC Company. The signing ceremony was held under the witness of Mr. Le Hong Cam - Director of Hai Phong Port Services Joint Stock Company under Sao Do Group - representative of the Management Board of Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park, where the project is built.
According to the contract, in the initial phase of the Project, the PTSC Thanh Hoa – CECO – PEC joint venture will undertake the following work items: basic design, construction design and implementation of related legal procedures and examination. The parties also agreed that the items within the scope of P&C (Procurement & Construction) will be discussed and signed by the parties as an additional appendix to the contract at the stage of completing the basic design. Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the investor and the joint venture shared the importance of the project, acknowledged the cooperation between the parties, and committed to close coordination, using the best resources to implement the project on schedule and ensure the highest quality.
The parties conducted a field survey at the project construction site.
The Nam Dinh Vu Chemical Warehouse Project plays an important role in storing and distributing chemicals in the key economic region of the North. With careful preparation and the highest determination from all parties, the entire Project Board aims to implement and complete the project on schedule, with optimal quality and efficiency, contributing to the economic and social development of the region.
