On the morning of February 9th (the 12th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Snake), after the Secret Ceremony in the Tro Tram Festival, which took place at midnight on the 11th and 12th of the first lunar month, concluded, Tu Xa commune, Lam Thao district, organized a procession of the "Sacred Rice" with the hope of praying for a bountiful harvest and prosperity for all.

The procession of the "Sacred Rice" starts from the Tro Temple to the Tram Post, circles around the village communal house, and returns to the Tro Temple. The most important offerings in the ceremony are the cluster of sacred rice (a clump of long-stemmed, plump glutinous rice harvested from the previous year's crop in the commune), plus a sugarcane stalk with its top intact, placed in a vase on an eight-sided palanquin, along with incense, flowers, fruits, betel leaves, and areca nuts... Both the rice clump and the sugarcane stalk symbolize the sacred rice plant.

The procession started from Tro Temple, went to Tram Station, circled around the village communal house, and then returned to Tro Temple.
In the procession, leading the way is the team carrying the sacred flag, followed by the teams carrying the ceremonial offerings, the sacred rice, the sacrificial officials, the performance of "The Four Occupations of the People," and finally the representatives and people from the commune and district. Upon arriving at the Trò temple courtyard, the elders will perform the Ten Bows Ceremony. After the "Sacred Rice" procession concludes, the people gather at the Trò temple to partake in the blessings.
