Award Ceremony of Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces 2023

This is a noble award of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to recognize the efforts and striving of young people, creating a spread in the community.

On the evening of March 23, in Hanoi , the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held the 2023 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces Award Ceremony.

Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attended and presented the Award at the ceremony.

Also attending were leaders of Central Committees, Ministries, leaders of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and outstanding and promising young Vietnamese faces honored on this occasion.

At the ceremony, 9 Promising Young Faces of Vietnam and 10 Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam in 2023 with outstanding achievements in the fields of: Study; Scientific research - innovation; Labor production; Business - start-up; National defense; Security and order; Sports; Social activities; Culture and arts; State administrative management were honored.

This is a noble award of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to recognize the efforts and striving of young people, creating a spread in the community, motivating the development of young talents and promoting the emulation movement of studying, training, scientific research, labor, creativity... among young people.

The Outstanding and Promising Young Vietnamese Faces of 2023 are typical examples, with impressive achievements and strong inspiration.

That is the story of Nguyen Duc Cuong (singer Den Vau) - from a young man who was a worker at an environmental sanitation company in Quang Ninh, with his love for music, Cuong became a leading rapper in Vietnam and spread the inspiration to live and contribute to the community with the stage name Den Vau.

Or Dr. Ngo Quoc Duy, Deputy Head of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, K Hospital, with the first report in Southeast Asia on the successful implementation of robotic thyroidectomy through the oral vestibule in the treatment of thyroid cancer. This is a milestone marking the development of the surgical specialty in general, as well as in the field of thyroid surgery in particular in Vietnam.

Nguyen Tuan Anh - Top 10 Hackers ranked in the program "Finding vulnerabilities 2023", Top 100 world security experts in the 3 largest security platforms in the world.

Dinh Cao Son won the Gold Medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad IchO with a score ranked 7th in the world.

Dang Cat Tien, a 9th grade student, plays the role of President of the "Children's National Assembly" at the first Children's National Assembly Mock Session...

Speaking at the Commendation Ceremony, congratulating the young faces on their outstanding achievements in recent times, First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Bui Quang Huy stated that our country is on the path of strong development with the aspiration to build a rich, democratic, prosperous, civilized, happy Vietnam, becoming a modern industrialized country with high income by 2045.

To realize that aspiration, we need the cooperation and unanimity of all the people, including an extremely important group, the young people.

Mr. Bui Quang Huy affirmed that the young faces honored today are the clearest evidence of the aspirations of Vietnamese youth.

According to the First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, “We all have only one life. Whether youth is brilliant or not, it is only once, it cannot be brilliant a second time. Do not let youth pass by meaninglessly. Continue to steadfastly advance on the path you have chosen so that the brilliance of youth is a launching pad for the brilliance of life, making the Fatherland more and more beautiful.”

From the examples honored today, the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union hopes that young people will always nurture their aspirations, set themselves a noble goal, nurture their determination and not hesitate to act to reach their aspirations.

The road to realizing our aspirations may be bumpy and full of obstacles, but if we overcome them, we will achieve success. Our successes, no matter how small, will be the bricks that contribute to the overall success of the whole country.

Mr. Bui Quang Huy suggested that the Youth Union at all levels continue to perform their functions well, create a good training environment for young people, and be a companion to young people on the path to conquering new heights.

The 2023 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces Award Ceremony is one of the practical activities to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union./.
