(HNMO) - On the evening of May 15, at the Olympic Stadium (Phnom Penh, Cambodia), the Vietnamese women's football team played brilliantly, winning a convincing 2-0 victory over the Myanmar women's team, successfully defending the SEA Games Championship title, and setting a record of 4 consecutive gold medals.
Right after the opening whistle, the Vietnamese women's team launched a quick attack on Myanmar's field. In the 12th minute, goalkeeper Nyein made a mistake, Tuyet Dung observed sharply and passed the ball to Huynh Nhu, who shot into Myanmar's net to open the score early.
After conceding the goal, Myanmar immediately pushed up their attack but could not maintain the pressure. Huynh Nhu and her teammates quickly regained control to dominate the match.
In the second half, the game did not change, the Vietnamese team continued to dominate the game, making the opponent stalemate.
