Ho Chi Minh City will organize a total of three fireworks nights during the holiday, including April 19, April 26 and April 30, 2025.
On the evening of April 26, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City residents will enjoy a special high-altitude fireworks display at Saigon Riverside Park, Thu Duc City.
The shooting location on April 26 had only one high-altitude position in the riverside area, creating a brilliant scene along the Saigon River at night.
The event takes place from 9:30 p.m. to 9:40 p.m., as part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day.
People and tourists can go to the area along Bach Dang wharf to watch live, but should come early because the crowd is very large.
In addition, cafes and restaurants in high-rise buildings near the Saigon River are also ideal choices to watch fireworks in a comfortable, uncrowded space. However, due to high demand, it is recommended to book a table in advance to avoid running out of space.

In addition to fireworks displays, Ho Chi Minh City also organizes rehearsals for state-level parades on Le Duan Street (District 1) at two time slots: the evening of April 25 (8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) and the morning of April 27 (7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).
On April 30, the official parade will be held on a large scale on the road from Nguyen Binh Khiem through Le Duan to the Independence Palace, with the participation of more than 13,000 people from the armed forces and people's representatives.
That same evening, at 8:00 p.m., there will be a special cavalry parade and performance organized by the Ministry of Public Security , moving through Ton Duc Thang - Nguyen Hue - Le Loi streets.
From 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on April 30, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to organize high-altitude fireworks displays at two major locations: the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Duc City) and Ben Duoc Temple (Cu Chi), along with 28 low-altitude fireworks displays scattered in other districts in the city.
