SOLID FOUNDATION
The summer of 2025 is a special summer for the staff, lecturers and students of the Vietnam - Germany Technical College in Ha Tinh when they look back together on the journey of overcoming storms, lighting up hope to engrave special marks in the school's history throughout the 2020-2025 term.
THE PAST TERM WAS A TIME FULL OF DIFFICULTIES BUT IT ALSO MARKED THE MEttle To Overcome Difficulties, The Spirit Of Creativity, And Constantly Rising Of The Party Committee Of The VIETNAMESE-GERMAN TECHNICAL COLLEGE OF HA TINH.
Dr. Cao Thanh Le - Party Secretary and Principal of the school shared: “The past term was a difficult time but also marked the courage to overcome difficulties, the spirit of creativity, and the constant striving of the Party Committee of the Vietnam - Germany Technical College of Ha Tinh. In the context of many fluctuations in the world and domestic situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russia - Ukraine war, the trend of globalization and the 4.0 industrial revolution, along with the streamlining of the State administrative apparatus, vocationaleducation activities have faced many challenges. However, with the spirit of always finding new motivation, looking for opportunities in difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee of the school has demonstrated steadfastness, leading the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the previous term Congress”.
To create a foundation for long-term development, the school's Party Committee pays great attention to Party building work with a focus on improving the quality of the team, political education, ethics and lifestyle. The work of cadres is carried out comprehensively, synchronously and with focus. From planning, training, evaluation to using and developing the team, all are implemented openly, transparently, keeping up with the changes of society. In particular, the school's cadres, party members and teachers always promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's moral example, enthusiastically compete in patriotism, and promote the exemplary role of cadres and party members. Thanks to that, a united and professionally solid collective has been created, contributing to creating a solid foundation for training tasks.
With a teaching staff of 112/152 total staff, of which over 60% are PhDs and Masters, the school constantly invests in modern facilities, gradually approaching the model of "smart vocational school", pioneering in integrating digital transformation elements into teaching, management, testing and assessment. Thereby, forming a modern, flexible training environment that approaches international standards.
NEARLY 5,600 STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED, THE EMPLOYMENT RATE AFTER GRADUATION REACHED OVER 95%.
Looking back on the past, the school's cadres and party members are delighted that the school's training quality and reputation are increasingly appreciated. Nearly 5,600 students have been enrolled, and the employment rate after graduation is over 95%. In the face of difficulties, the school has not faltered but has persistently sought a suitable path, in which the strong expansion of cooperation with enterprises is a successful path. The school has provided thousands of high-quality technical workers for enterprises inside and outside the province, especially the Vung Ang Economic Zone - one of the key industrial development centers of Ha Tinh.
DESIRE TO REACH FAR
Entering the 2025-2030 term, the collective of cadres, party members, lecturers and students of the Vietnam - Germany Technical College in Ha Tinh once again affirmed the spirit of solidarity, the desire for innovation, and the strong will to rise up. With the motto of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Quality - Efficiency", the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term determined the central goal as follows: Inheriting and promoting the achievements, building the Vietnam - Germany Technical College in Ha Tinh into a high-quality vocational school; training technical human resources to meet the requirements of digital transformation, green transformation, fair transformation and international integration. In particular, an important highlight is to promote comprehensive digital transformation: from management to teaching, from testing and evaluation to operation, thereby improving work efficiency, reducing administrative procedures, creating maximum conditions for learners to access knowledge flexibly and on multiple platforms.
OUR BIGGEST GOAL IS TO BUILD VIETNAMESE-GERMAN TECHNICAL COLLEGE INTO A MODERN VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER, MEETING NATIONAL HIGH QUALITY STANDARDS, WITH STRONG INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION CAPACITY.
Dr. Cao Thanh Le - Party Secretary and Principal of the school affirmed: "The Congress is not only an opportunity to summarize the results achieved, but also the beginning of a new development path - a place where the intelligence, courage and future belief of the entire school converge.
Our biggest goal is to build the Vietnam - Germany Technical College of Ha Tinh into a modern vocational training center, meeting national high quality standards, with strong international integration capabilities. We aim for a learning environment closely linked to production practices, with advanced technology and student-centered.”
To realize the dream of reaching out, the Vietnam - Germany Technical College has set many goals for building the apparatus, human resources, facilities, and training strategies. Some of the breakthrough tasks include: building at least 5 national or international standard occupations; ensuring 95-97% of students have jobs in their field within 6 months of graduation; 100% of lecturers are trained and coached to improve their professional qualifications and pedagogical skills; strengthening cooperation, signing at least 30 cooperation agreements with enterprises and international organizations to support training and job creation for students.
SOME BREAKTHROUGH TASKS: BUILD AT LEAST 5 PROFESSIONS THAT MEET NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS; ENSURE 95-97% OF STUDENTS HAVE A JOB IN THE RIGHT FIELD 6 MONTHS AFTER GRADUATION; 100% OF LECTURERS ARE TRAINED AND TRAINED TO IMPROVE THEIR PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TEACHING SKILLS; STRENGTHEN COOPERATION, SIGNING AT LEAST 30 COOPERATION AGREEMENTS WITH ENTERPRISES AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT FOR STUDENTS.
At the same time, promote the application of information technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to carry out comprehensive digital transformation in management, operation, teaching, testing and evaluation; prioritize investment in high-tech training equipment, meeting the requirements of key occupations and training according to international programs.
WE ARE VERY CONFIDENT TO ENTER THE NEW TERM WITH PROUD ACHIEVEMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS FROM SOCIETY, BUSINESSES AND STUDENTS.
MSc. Nguyen Tien Hung - Head of Training Management and Quality Assurance Department shared: “We are very confident that the journey into the new term is filled with proud achievements, the expectations of society, businesses and students. We are even happier that in the coming time, the school will continue to strongly implement international cooperation programs, expand training links, exchange students and lecturers, aiming to build a vocational school model that integrates training in the direction of "multi-disciplinary - multi-level - multinational".
