This year, the entire city has 33,052 Grade 9 students registered for the exam, a decrease of 905 students compared to the previous school year. The total number of candidates registered for the exam to enter Grade 10 of public high schools (non-specialized) is 25,977; of which the enrollment target for Grade 10 of public high schools is 21,184 students.
To organize the exam safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations, the Hai Phong Departmentof Education and Training has established 43 examination councils for non-specialized groups, with a total of 1,102 examination rooms at high schools in the area.
Preparations for the Exam were carried out synchronously, from facilities, human resources to security and disease prevention plans. The Department of Education and Training has closely coordinated with the Police, Health , Electricity, Youth Union and related Departments and branches to mobilize the combined strength to ensure the absolute safety of the Exam.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training also coordinates with social organizations and unions to support candidates in difficult circumstances, creating favorable conditions for travel, accommodation, ensuring that no candidate has to drop out of the exam for economic reasons. Along with that, the stages of printing, transporting, invigilating, and grading are all carefully prepared. At the Examination Councils, there are full equipment for epidemic prevention, ensuring the health of candidates and staff on duty.
In particular, this year the city has 03 Examination Councils arranging special examination rooms at the following schools: Hong Bang High School, Tran Nguyen Han High School and Bach Dang High School for candidates with health problems such as broken arms, traumatic brain injuries, myelitis, etc. These cases all have requests from their families and are considered to create conditions to take the exam according to regulations.
At the Thai Phien High School Examination Council and Cong Hien High School, each location has one candidate using a hearing aid; these support devices have been checked and sealed according to regulations, ensuring fairness for the candidates.
This morning (June 3), candidates will take the first exam, Literature, for 120 minutes; in the afternoon, Foreign Language, for 60 minutes; and in the morning, June 4, candidates will take Math, for 90 minutes.
In recent times, the City Department of Education and Training has also actively coordinated with press and media agencies to promote propaganda work, create consensus among parents and students, contributing to helping students stabilize their psychology, confidently enter the important exam, and strive to achieve the best results./.
