The whole family says goodbye to gasoline cars and upgrades to electric cars.
Five years ago, when the new VinFast motorbikes were released to the market, Ms. Dieu Huyen (Hanoi) still thought that "electric vehicles are the future" because of her long-standing habit of using gasoline motorbikes.
“But now it's different. Electric cars have proven to be durable and safe. Everyone who uses them says they love them, so I have no more concerns,” said Ms. Huyen.
On the occasion of her daughter preparing to enter university, she decided to invest in a VinFast Evo Lite Neo, a popular choice among many young customers today, especially students. She herself is also planning to switch to a Klara Neo so that the whole family can say “bye” to gasoline cars.
“In addition to not emitting smoke, riding an electric motorbike is more convenient than a gasoline motorbike. By changing to a motorbike, my children and I will not have to queue at the gas station. Standing there for just 5 minutes is enough to inhale so much toxic gas,” Ms. Huyen explained.
Ms. Huyen's motivation to change her car also reflects the current trend in the Vietnamese market, because according to regulations, gasoline cars and motorbikes will have their emission standards tightened in the near future to reduce air pollution in big cities.
Similar to Ms. Dieu Huyen, Mr. Bao Lam, a real estate salesman in Ho Chi Minh City, has just switched to a VinFast Feliz Neo so he can continue using it for a long time without having to worry about new standards.
In addition to convenience, Mr. Lam also highly appreciates VinFast motorbike models in terms of safety and utility equipment. For example, his Feliz Neo is equipped with front disc brakes, an electronic screen that displays full vehicle operating information... which is hard to find in models in the same segment.
In particular, the “special privilege” of Vietnamese electric motorbikes is the IP67 waterproof engine, capable of operating in 0.5 m of water for 30 minutes. This is considered a “savior” for users when flooding occurs in big cities.
Remove all worries when converting
In the context of green cars becoming increasingly popular, recently, Vietnamese users have had more motivation to upgrade to electric cars as VinFast launched the campaign "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" for the third time.
The highlight is that all customers who buy VinFast cars or motorbikes will enjoy the “close partner” incentives. In particular, VinFast motorbike models in all segments have new, extremely accessible prices, up to 20% lower than before. Users now only need from 12 million VND to own a quality vehicle.
With the same program, the VinFast Evo Lite Neo that Ms. Huyen bought for her child to go to school is currently priced at only 14.4 million VND, cheaper than old, old manual transmission models. "To buy a scooter with a beautiful design, a reputable brand at this price is hard to find on the market," she added.
As for Mr. Bao Lam, the Feliz Neo he bought cost 22.4 million VND. According to Mr. Lam, VinFast's incentive policy is very attractive for owning an electric motorbike. Meanwhile, the cost of using the vehicle is almost zero because VinFast has just applied a free battery charging policy at V-Green public charging stations until May 31, 2026.
“If I charge at home, I find the cost is very reasonable. It costs me less than 10,000 VND per charge, which is definitely not enough to pay for gas,” Mr. Lam analyzed.
With this “policy combo”, observers believe that VinFast continues to demonstrate its efforts to green Vietnam’s transportation with practical solutions such as financial incentives, removing users’ concerns when switching from gasoline vehicles to new electric vehicles. In addition, with charging station infrastructure as well as service workshops covering the whole country, electric motorbike users can completely rest assured when using their vehicles on every journey.
