Accordingly, Nha Trang Bay Management Board has urgently notified more than 300 vehicle owners operating at the wharf; promptly disseminated weather developments, provided guidance on prevention and continuously updated information at each time; coordinated with Khanh Hoa Inland Waterways Port Authority to temporarily suspend departure procedures for passenger vehicles when there was a warning of strong winds and waves; organized continuous radio warnings through loudspeakers at the wharf; sent notifications via Zalo group to vehicle owners to ensure the fastest information reception; in case of non-compliance with the evacuation request, a record will be drawn up, a report will be made to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and enforcement will be coordinated to ensure safety and limit the risk of drifting and causing damage to other vehicles.
At the same time, Nha Trang Bay Management Board has instructed to move vehicles to safe anchorage areas; limit activities during extreme weather; review and inspect the work of lashing and reinforcing facilities and equipment of inland waterway ports; organize 24/7 on-duty, assign staff to monitor ports; maintain continuous communication.
Nha Trang Bay Management Board is continuing to closely monitor the storm's developments, proactively advising, increasing warnings and coordinating with functional forces to ensure absolute safety at the wharves and on Nha Trang Bay.
