
At the An Thien village cultural house, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang presented 30 gifts to people in An Thien, An Tho, and Phu Van villages (Tay Ho commune) that suffered heavy damage due to floods.
The Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee shared the losses and difficulties that households had to endure due to floods and rains; hoped that local people and forces would proactively respond to storm No. 13; quickly overcome the damage caused by natural disasters, and soon stabilize life and production.

Talking to the people, the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee affirmed that the city leaders are very concerned about overcoming the damage caused by floods, especially ensuring social security at this time. The forces join hands to support the people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
In the immediate future, the city has decided to spend 210 billion VND to support 72 communes and wards in the city affected by natural disasters.
In recent days, the city's forces, Party committees, authorities and local forces have made many efforts to support, assist and create conditions to help people overcome the consequences of floods, minimizing damage to people and property.

Inspecting a landslide that threatened the lives and property of 18 households (71 people) in Cam Long village (Tay Ho commune), the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the local authorities to evacuate the households to a safe place to avoid storm No. 13 on the afternoon of November 6.
In the long term, the People's Committee of Tay Ho commune will conduct a comprehensive review of landslide locations that directly affect people's lives and pose a high risk of not being able to live stably for a long time, and report to the city to synthesize and develop a general treatment plan for the city; not letting people live in fear of landslides and not ensuring safety.
At the same time, it is requested that forces, especially the armed forces, Party committees and authorities of Tay Ho commune, prepare well for storm No. 13 and heavy rains according to the motto "4 on-site", "3 ready", as well as overcome the damage caused by the storm.
“In low-lying areas where families are not safe, they should evacuate to the safest place. Localities should prepare enough necessities and medical supplies to ensure people’s health,” Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang emphasized.
