With the theme "Safety - Peace of Mind - Joy," the National E-commerce Week and Vietnam Online Friday 2025 are setting a grand ambition: not just a shopping festival, but also a turning point in rebuilding consumer trust.
The program focuses not only on promotions but also aims to create a transparent and trustworthy e-commerce ecosystem.
At a press conference introducing the program on the afternoon of November 4th in Hanoi, Ms. Lai Viet Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) shared that the theme "Safety - Peace of Mind - Joy" is no longer just a slogan but has become the strategic direction of this year's National E-commerce Week and Online Friday shopping event.
The biggest difference in this year's Online Friday is the shift in focus from promotions to transaction quality and security, transforming the event into a platform to enhance consumer digital trust.

From the perspective of the association, Mr. Tran Van Trong - General Secretary of the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) emphasized that the key factor is the close coordination of three parties: state management agencies, businesses, and consumers.
In this context, the State needs to create a transparent legal framework while still ensuring effective control. Businesses must have a thorough understanding of the law, a long-term vision, and build a reputable brand. Consumers, as the decisive factor, need to equip themselves with the skills to become informed consumers.
Mr. Trong offered the "2C" advice for consumers to protect themselves and have the best shopping experience. The first C is "choose right." This means choosing a reputable platform, a trustworthy seller, and a secure payment method. The second C is "choose enough," meaning balancing desires and affordability, harmonizing costs with value received, and avoiding impulsive purchases.
Meanwhile, emphasizing solutions to spread the joy of shopping, Mr. Do Huu Hung - Director of AccessTrade Vietnam - stated that although the main message is simply encapsulated in three words: "Safety - Peace of Mind - Joy," it represents a significant shift. The market has moved beyond relying solely on low prices and vouchers to encourage shopping. Now, the market has shifted to focusing on quality and customer satisfaction, where user experience is the key to sustainable commerce.
AccessTrace will partner with Online Friday to implement creative campaigns to meet consumer needs. This includes encouraging users to share their shopping experiences through video reviews, spreading joy naturally. In addition to Mega Live, there will be numerous side livestreams to create more diverse and engaging shopping experiences.
Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Editor-in-Chief of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, emphasized that the foundation of all safety, peace of mind, and happiness is compliance with the law. Legal regulations are increasingly being perfected, from the Law on Consumer Rights Protection to related decrees, which clearly define the responsibilities of "influencers" (KOLs/KOCs).
"To ensure safety, all business activities in the e-commerce environment must comply with the law. The best way to promote awareness of the law and proper conduct is the root of 'Safety - Peace of Mind - Happiness'," Mr. Minh affirmed.
