With the theme "Safety - Peace of mind - Happiness", the National E-commerce Week and Vietnam Online Friday 2025 online shopping day program is setting a big ambition: not only a shopping festival but also a turning point in rebuilding consumer confidence.
The program not only focuses on promotions but also aims to create a transparent and trustworthy e-commerce ecosystem.
At the press conference introducing this program on the afternoon of November 4 in Hanoi, Ms. Lai Viet Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) shared that the theme "Safety - Peace of mind - Happiness" is no longer a slogan but has become the strategic direction of the National E-commerce Week and Online Friday this year.
The biggest difference of Online Friday this year is the shift in focus from promotions to transaction quality and safety, turning the event into a platform to enhance consumer digital trust.

From the association's perspective, Mr. Tran Van Trong - General Secretary of the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) emphasized that the key factor is the close coordination of three parties: state management agencies, businesses and consumers.
In particular, the State needs to create a clear legal corridor while still ensuring effective control. Enterprises must understand the law, have a long-term vision and build a reputable brand. Consumers are the decisive factor, need to equip themselves with skills to become smart consumers.
Mr. Trong gives "2C" advice to consumers to protect themselves and have the best shopping experience. The first C is "choose right". Choose the right reputable platform, reliable seller and safe payment method. The second C is "choose enough", which means balancing desire and ability to pay, harmonizing the cost and value received, avoiding emotional shopping.
Meanwhile, emphasizing the solution to spread the joy of shopping, Mr. Do Huu Hung - Director of AccessTrade Vietnam said that although the main message is only encapsulated in three words: "Safety - Peace of mind - Happiness", behind it is a whole shift. The market has passed the stage of only using cheap methods and vouchers to encourage shopping. Now, the market has moved to the stage of focusing on quality and customer satisfaction, when user experience is the factor that creates sustainable commerce.
AccessTrace will accompany Online Friday to launch creative campaigns to meet consumer needs. Accordingly, encourage users to share shopping experiences through review videos , spreading joy naturally. Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Editor-in-Chief of Cong Thuong Newspaper emphasized that the foundation of all safety, peace of mind and happiness is compliance with the law. Legal regulations are increasingly being improved, from the Law on Consumer Protection to related decrees, which have clearly defined the responsibilities of "influencers" (KOL/KOC).
"To be safe, all business activities in the e-commerce environment must comply with the law. The best propaganda about the law and standards is the root of 'Safety - Peace of mind - Happiness'," Mr. Minh affirmed.
