The Ministry of Health stated that recently, the weather in many areas across the country has been hot and sunny, affecting people's lives and the working environment. To prevent heat for patients and medical staff, ensure safety and improve patient satisfaction, hospitals are requested to prepare medicines, equipment, and emergency vehicles at the hospital and outside the hospital; train and instruct on first aid skills for people with heatstroke, heat shock and especially stroke. Coordinate with media units and preventive medical facilities in the area to propagate and mobilize people to proactively prevent heat.

The Ministry of Health also requires medical examination and treatment facilities to increase ventilation in areas with a large number of patients, such as waiting rooms, hallways, and install additional canopies on walkways between buildings and in outdoor areas with a large concentration of patients' relatives.
For treatment departments, patient rooms, and administrative rooms, ceiling fans, wall fans, steam fans, and industrial fans should be added. In particular, hospitals should proactively mobilize resources to install air conditioners within the unit's capacity, while arranging and providing free drinking water for patients and their families in clinical departments and waiting rooms; and adding water dispensers in locations where there is a shortage or when demand increases on hot days.
