Accordingly, on June 4, Market Management Team No. 6 presided over and coordinated with the Economic Police Department (PC03), Quang Binh Provincial Police to conduct a surprise inspection of the facility of Thinh Phat Food Import-Export Company Limited. Through the inspection, the authorities discovered a total of 3,900 kg of various types of frozen foods of foreign origin without legal invoices or documents.

The seized items include many types of products such as: pork shoulder, pork heart, pork belly, pork leg, pork trotter, ribs, chicken thighs, whole chicken, chicken legs and wings, buffalo meat and potato stalks... with a total estimated value of nearly 260 million VND.

On the same day, Market Management Team No. 2 inspected the business household of Ngo Thi Hong Nhung (address at Group 4, Le Ninh Farm Town, Le Thuy). At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered 268.5 kg of various foods including fish cakes, shrimp spring rolls, shrimp buds, beef, animal organs (uterus) of unknown origin, without invoices or documents proving the legality of the goods.
Worryingly, all the goods in these two cases were not quarantined, potentially posing a risk of food safety. Authorities have sealed and temporarily detained the entire shipment for handling according to legal regulations.
