On May 31st, coinciding with International Children's Day, the Ministry of Health organized the launching ceremony for the Month of Action for Children in Phu Tho province with the message "Prioritizing resources to achieve goals for children." The ceremony was attended by over 300 children, aiming to promote a nationwide movement for the care, education, and protection of children. During the program, Vinamilk and the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund donated 41,000 boxes of milk, equivalent to 300 million VND, to support the nutrition and health of disadvantaged children in the province.

Mr. Tran Dang Khoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Maternal and Child Health, Ministry of Health, stated: "We all know that nutrition plays a crucial role in a child's development. During the period from 0 to 8 years old, nutrition is especially important for physical, mental, and motor development, helping children achieve good stature, physical strength, and intelligence later in life. Therefore, we highly value programs on nutrition for children."

On this occasion, leaders of the Ministry of Health, along with representatives from various agencies and Vinamilk, visited and presented nutritional gifts to child patients receiving treatment at Phu Tho Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and SOS Children's Village Viet Tri – recipients of milk from Vinamilk's "Vietnam's Rising Milk Fund" program. Here, leaders from the Ministry of Health, Vinamilk, and partner organizations directly presented gifts and offered words of encouragement to the children and their "mothers" – those who are caring for and nurturing them as if they were their own children.

"We believe that after this program, the children's physical health at the center will improve. We hope that Vinamilk will continue to bring this nutritious milk not only to SOS Children's Village Viet Tri, but also to many other disadvantaged children across the country," said Mr. Le Xuan Tung, Director of SOS Children's Village Viet Tri (Phu Tho).

"Joining hands to light up dreams"

That's the message Vinamilk wants to spread when partnering with the "Lighting Up Dreams" program, organized by the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights in collaboration with Ben Tre province on May 31st, leading up to special events in June. Accordingly, Vinamilk provided gifts and milk to nearly 400 children and 100 people from families with revolutionary merit and disadvantaged families in the locality.

Children's joy is not just about gifts; it's about expressing their talents, sharing their thoughts and dreams, and receiving encouragement, care, and love from the community.

Representatives from the company also visited and encouraged children with special circumstances who are being cared for and educated at the SOS Children's Village in Ben Tre. Mr. Do Thanh Tuan, Director of External Relations at Vinamilk, shared: "The Month of Action for Children is an opportunity for us to reflect on the responsibility and role of the entire society in caring for the future generation. And not only on this occasion, Vinamilk has been, is, and will always strive with activities to care for children, steadfast in its mission: to ensure that all children have equal access to the best quality nutritional products."

Not only have programs related to children been consistently implemented for nearly two decades, such as the School Milk Program and the Vietnam Rising Milk Fund, Vinamilk has always been a leading enterprise in movements and activities to care for the health and nutrition of children nationwide. Typical examples include actively supporting young talents in international competitions such as Robotacon; nearly 30 years of jointly supporting surgeries for children with congenital heart and eye diseases; and regularly organizing numerous nutritional check-ups for children...

Recently, Vinamilk also partnered with thousands of children at the Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi Children's Congresses, as well as the 10th National Children's Congress. Vinamilk will continue its activities supporting children throughout June, marking the beginning of a vibrant summer for tens of millions of students nationwide.
