The Vietnam Women's Academy receives the decision on quality accreditation for educational institutions in the second cycle.

On the morning of December 11th, the Vietnam Women's Academy held a ceremony to announce the Decision on the accreditation of educational institutions for the second cycle and the Development Strategy for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2045. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union, attended the program.

This event marks a significant turning point, affirming the maturity of the Vietnam Women's Academy in university governance and opening up new development directions in line with the requirements of educational reform and the national strategy on gender equality.

The announcement ceremony was also attended by Ms. Pham Huong Giang - Head of the Women's Affairs Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; Mr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of the Quality Management Department ( Ministry of Education and Training ); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, Hanoi National University; along with leaders of various units, lecturers and students of the Academy.

Previously, the external evaluation process conducted in October 2025 and the accreditation granted in November 2025 demonstrated that the Academy's governance capacity had reached a new level of maturity. The complete fulfillment of evidence according to the 25 accreditation standards, along with the implementation of numerous improvements following the previous cycle, shows the seriousness, professionalism, and proactive spirit throughout the entire operational system of the institution.

Associate Professor Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, on behalf of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, presented the Certificate to the Board of Directors of the Academy, marking a new phase of development in the school's management, training, research, and community service.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of the Quality Management Department (Ministry of Education and Training) - affirmed that the results of the second accreditation cycle of the Academy are not only proof of quality but also an important foundation for the Academy to confidently enter a period of profound transformation.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union, Vice President Nguyen Thi Thu Hien presented flowers to congratulate the Academy, affirming the contributions of the Vietnam Women's Academy in training female human resources and accompanying the Central Committee in fulfilling political tasks on women and gender equality.

Presenting the key content of the Academy's Development Strategy for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2045, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Tien, Director of the Vietnam Women's Academy, emphasized the Academy's development vision based on the model of a "Digital University, oriented towards social innovation," built on the foundation of social sciences and humanities, spreading the values ​​of gender equality and sustainable development. The strategy comprises 8 task groups with 68 KPIs, reflecting the determination to comprehensively innovate and improve the quality of training.

In particular, the goal of having the Vietnam Women's Academy in the top 50% of leading universities in Vietnam by 2045 and gradually appearing on international rankings reflects the strong aspiration of a higher education institution shaping its own unique identity.
