The conference was attended by more than 100 scientists, experts, lecturers and students from institutes, universities, research institutes and technology enterprises across the country. The conference was held in the context of the world entering the acceleration phase of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, when information technology has become the core infrastructure of all fields - from administration, education, communication to economy - society.
In Vietnam, the Party and State have identified digital transformation as one of three strategic breakthroughs, with the goal of developing a digital economy, digital society and digital citizens, in which education and scientific research play a key role. The workshop is expected to open up a space for connecting knowledge in the digital age.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Tien - Director of Vietnam Women's Academy - spoke at the Workshop
In his opening speech, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Tien - Director of the Vietnam Women's Academy - emphasized the significance of information technology in the development of modern society and the responsibility of higher education institutions in preparing human resources to meet the requirements of the times.
Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Tien affirmed that digital transformation is not only a technological trend but also a process of fundamental innovation in management, teaching, research and public service provision methods, requiring the active participation of high-quality human resources. Vietnam Women's Academy, with the orientation of developing education associated with technology, always attaches importance to promoting scientific research, expanding cooperation and creating large-scale academic exchange forums such as the National Conference in 2025.

Experts speak at the workshop
The workshop is an opportunity for young scientists, lecturers and students to share experiences, improve research capacity, thereby spreading the spirit of innovation and international integration in the academic community.
The workshop focused on the field of digital transformation in education and school administration, data technology, artificial intelligence and practical applications... Presentations demonstrated creative thinking, the ability to apply machine learning and artificial intelligence to solve practical problems, from education, natural disaster forecasting to building digital government.
The workshop took place enthusiastically with the following issues: Ability to integrate technology platforms in universities; Digital capacity of lecturers; Data standardization; Forecasting models in heterogeneous data conditions; Challenges in implementing open education models based on digital infrastructure and the ability to apply these solutions in state agencies as well as educational institutions...
Many delegates commented that the biggest challenge today is not equipment or software, but the management mindset and digital capacity of the staff and lecturers, which play a decisive role in digital transformation of education.

Many issues were discussed enthusiastically at the Workshop.
From the reporting and discussion sessions, many outstanding issues were noted, suggesting the need for stronger innovation in the coming period such as: The issue of connecting digital infrastructure in education; Strengthening training to improve digital skills of lecturers; The need to apply AI - Big Data in management and support for learners.
In particular, in response to the requirements for comprehensive digital transformation in the spirit of Resolutions 71/NQ-TW and 87/NQ-TW, delegates affirmed: These two resolutions not only provide direction but also create a fundamental legal corridor, affirming that education must become one of the three main pillars of the national digital transformation process.
Accordingly, training institutions are forced to transform strongly: standardize digital governance models towards transparency, connectivity and data-based; accelerate the construction and sharing of digital teaching and learning resources; deeply integrate AI, big data and platform technologies into training, research and management programs; and develop digital capacity for staff and lecturers as a prerequisite. In addition, educational institutions must create flexible, safe and effective digital learning environments, creating conditions for learners to proactively adapt to the new context.
At the workshop, delegates agreed that to implement the spirit of Resolutions 71 and 87, the education sector cannot stop at "digitalizing tools". What is more necessary is a comprehensive transformation - from management thinking, operating processes, training methods to organizational culture - to make education truly become the central driving force of national digital transformation.
