On the afternoon of December 11th, at a press conference announcing the results of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly , Deputy Chairwoman of the Committee on Delegate Affairs Ta Thi Yen stated that the personnel restructuring at the 10th Session was of paramount importance, not only addressing immediate issues but also serving as necessary preparation for the 16th National Assembly term.
"The positions elected and approved by the National Assembly all hold key positions in the organizational structure. Therefore, timely personnel restructuring also helps ensure smooth leadership and management and prevents gaps in any important areas," Ms. Ta Thi Yen emphasized.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Delegate Affairs, the personnel selection process at the session was carried out rigorously and systematically, adhering strictly to the regulations of the Party and the law, clearly demonstrating the principles of democratic centralism, openness, and transparency. This contributes to strengthening the people's trust in personnel work as well as the supreme oversight of the National Assembly.
According to Ms. Yen, the personnel restructuring also meets the requirements of the tasks in the coming period, especially as our country enters a period of strengthening and perfecting institutions and transforming the organizational model of local government in the context of implementing a two-tiered local government system, in preparation for the 16th National Assembly term.

"The timely consolidation of leadership positions also helps the apparatus have sufficient capacity and resources to effectively implement the major policies set forth by the entire Party and the State," Ms. Yen emphasized.
Regarding the results of the 10th session, the Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office, Le Quang Manh, stated that after 40 days of continuous, urgent, and serious work, with a scientific spirit, innovation, and high responsibility, the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly has completed all the planned contents and programs.
The National Assembly considered, discussed, and voted to pass 51 laws and 39 resolutions, including 8 normative legal resolutions. This is a very large volume of legislation, accounting for nearly 30% of the total number of laws and normative resolutions issued during the entire term. The laws and resolutions passed both promptly met practical requirements and created a legal framework for the new period.

Along with legislative and supervisory work, the National Assembly has considered and decided on many strategic issues of great importance. In particular, this session saw a thorough and comprehensive review of the work of state agencies during the 2021-2026 term; and the consideration and decision-making on personnel matters in accordance with Party regulations and State laws.
At the same time, the National Assembly also thoroughly discussed the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, contributing intellect, dedication, and ideas for the country's development towards the goal of becoming a developing country with modern industry and high middle income by 2030, when the Party celebrates its 100th anniversary; and becoming a developed country with high income by 2045, the 100th anniversary of the nation's founding.
