Vietnam University of Petroleum in 2024 will achieve revenue of 18.5 billion VND from short-term training

On October 31, Vietnam Oil and Gas University (PVU) held a ceremony to award certificates of educational quality accreditation, the 2025 graduation ceremony and the opening of the 2025-2026 school year.

Dr. Phan Minh Quoc Binh, President of Vietnam University of Petroleum, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school will fully complete its goals in training, scientific research, international cooperation and community service.

The school achieved a score of 4.52 points in the quality assessment of educational institutions, ranking 2nd out of 201 accredited universities nationwide. Notably, all of PVU's undergraduate training programs have met the international accreditation standards of ABET (USA) - the world's leading prestigious accreditation standard in the field of engineering and technology.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year, PVU will provide short-term training for the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group and its member units with more than 4,400 students in 2024, with revenue reaching 18.5 billion VND, completing 100% of the plan.

At the ceremony, PVU was awarded the second cycle of educational institution quality accreditation certificate; at the same time, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with PTSC Corporation, PV Drilling Corporation and PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo).

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training asked PVU to continue to innovate university governance on a digital platform, pioneer in training human resources for the national energy transition, promote research, innovation and enhance education in ethics, soft skills and digital capacity for students.
